Dinbook Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Dinbook app and its family sharing service ("Dinbook"), made by Workaholic Developers ("we"). By using Dinbook you agree to them.

1. What Dinbook is

Dinbook is a household diary. It helps you record the attendance of people who help run your home and the deliveries you receive, and it works out a monthly bill from what you record. Bills are only as accurate as the diary and the pay terms you enter. Please check a bill before you pay or share it. Dinbook is not an employment, payroll, tax or legal service.

2. Payments

"Pay with UPI" opens a payment app you choose (such as GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM) with the amount filled in. The payment itself happens in that app, between you and its provider. Dinbook never handles money and never sees your bank or card details. Marking a bill as paid is only a note in your diary.

3. Family sharing

  • Invite only people you trust. Everyone in a family diary can see and change its records.
  • The owner can rename the family diary, remove members, revoke invites and delete it.
  • Respect the people you record. Store a helper's phone number, UPI ID or documents only with their knowledge, and don't use Dinbook for anything unlawful.

4. Price

Dinbook is free during launch, with no ads. If we later offer paid extras, they will be optional, clearly priced in the app store, and what you already use will keep working.

5. Your data

How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and liability

Dinbook is provided "as is". Family sharing needs an internet connection and our server, which we try to keep running but cannot guarantee. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from a wrong, late or missing entry, bill, reminder or notification. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes; the date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app.
